The Heart of Cedar Rock Adventures

Cedar Rock Adventures is committed to sharing the nature, majesty and adventure tucked away in the mountains of Asheville, NC. Whether you’re seeking a hiking adventure or a brewery hopping river tour with friends, our experienced guides are ready to share the beauty, nature and people that make Asheville and WNC special. We provide raft, canoe and hiking tours.

The name Cedar Rock has meaning. The first trip I offered was a guided 4th class hike/climb up Cedar Rock Mountain in Pisgah National Forest. This is also the name of the Outward Bound basecamp where I guided many summer backpacking expeditions. It ignited my passion for leading groups into the outdoors. This bar crawl is SO awesome. Levi is fantastic. Super knowledgeable about area. I was nervous bc I had had a knee replacement a while back but Levi, as well as other passengers, were there to help me on and off raft each time. Extremely relaxing and fun. Definitely a must do!!!

The floating bar crawl was great fun! Cody was super gracious in getting us booked when it didn't look like there was availability. Tim did a great job as our guide, teller of "dad jokes," and all around fun guy. We even managed to avoid getting caught in a downpour! Our family had a great time.
