The name Cedar Rock has meaning. The first trip I offered was a guided 4th class hike/climb up Cedar Rock Mountain in Pisgah National Forest. This is also the name of the Outward Bound basecamp where I guided many summer backpacking expeditions. It ignited my passion for leading groups into the outdoors. A seasoned guide with experience in hiking, river guiding, mountain biking, backpacking and world traveling. He has been leading groups in outdoor enviroments since the mid 90’s. He is an alumni of NOLS & Outward Bound and taught wildernesss backpacking, white water canoeing, rock climbing, and coastal canoe expeditions with North Carolina Outward Bound School.
